Bug-A-Lugs acknowledges the Dja Dja Wurrung, Taungurung and Wurundjeri Woi-wurrung Peoples as the Traditional Owners and Custodians of the lands and waterways across the Macedon Ranges where our children, families and educators learn, play and come together.

We recognise their living cultures, their continuing connection to Country, and the important role they hold in caring for land, waterways, community and culture.

We pay our respects to Elders past and present, and acknowledge all Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander children, families and community members connected with Bug-A-Lugs.

We are committed to learning with respect, caring for Country, and teaching children to value kindness, connection and belonging.
